NEW YORK, NEW YORK – March 19, 2012 – There is no denying that Phil Goodman, DJ Pheelgood, has been taking over some of New York City's most prestigious nightclubs and venues with his music and talent, over the last year. His young fresh style, along with his ability to pour endless amounts of energy into each and every set is truly helping him make a name for himself. Aside from the nightlife and club scene, Pheelgood’s extensive charity involvement has become his favorite part of his profession. In 2012 alone, Pheelgood has spun at four major charity and fundraising events for various causes.
His first event of the year was for Music Unites; an organization dedicated to funding and sustaining music education programs in under-served school districts around the country. Following that appearance, he was as fortunate to spin at Tenjune for the Attack Mac’s organization which is a non-profit organization for Macular degeneration; a degenerative eye disease that affects millions of adults worldwide. With growing recognition, he then spun for NDG Fit’s Primped and Pumped – Fitness Night out fundraiser event; NDG Fit is a luxury boutique fitness studio for women located in the heart of NYC. Most recently, Pheelgood had the opportunity to DJ for Masquerave; a Pre-Purim Rave for the March of the Living International Leadership charity.
Pheelgood has been a native to the NYC music scene for his entire life and has always had a profound appreciation for all genres of music. But it was not until his college years that he developed an attraction to electronic music that soon became an obsession. And it was through this obsession that PheelGood was born. Now PheelGood is achieving his dream of taking his name nationally playing in cities outside of New York, such as D.C., Baltimore, and Atlantic City. Because of his ability to incorporate all genres of music, he has been utilized as a DJ, to provide specialized music, for these charity and fundraising events.
Pheelgood explains, “There is something so rewarding and gratifying when I can give back to the community by spinning for these different charities. I love appearing at nightclubs for the normal weekend crowd, but when I am working a fundraiser, the feeling of satisfaction seems to be unending!” With his dedication, drive, and focus, the sky is the limit for this one-of-a-kind deejay. Pheelgood has proved that you can truly do good with music that sounds good.
ARMANDO SODANO
THE MAN BEHIND THE MUSIC
Armando Sodano is a producer, DJ and remixer whose creativity and passion for music keeps him working around the clock. Born right outside of Boston, Worcester, Massachusetts-based 21-year- old creates a sound all his own by bringing together the music he grew up listening to with the current sounds of house/ techno, dubstep, hip-hop, rock, and R&B. The DJ has showcased his music in some of the top venues on the east coast, ranging from Boston to NYC. "After seeing Armando spin NYE at Santos Party House, I am so anxious for his next NYC appearance", said Rebecca Symon, A PR representative for the venues booking Agency. His natural ability to produce impeccable mashups, along with his ability to hype up a diverse crowd, has led to his following by music appreciative party-goers. There is no telling what Armando Sodana will achieve next, although he is confident that he will surpass his expactations in 2012.
