    DJ Smitty isn’t your typical club DJ, and the music he spins is not your average tune. Smitty, born in Brooklyn & raised in New Jersey, is one of the most talented up and coming DJs around, hitting the East Coast with his powerful mixtapes and intense live performances.  As one of the last DJs to come out of the real vinyl record era of the craft,  Smitty got his start on the college party circuit and after being introduced to the NYC powerhouse entertainment company, HollyWoodhouse Ent., he quickly moved onto playing some of New York City's most exclusive clubs and venues including Marquee, Le Souk, Hudson Terrace, Avenue, & The Red Room at The Gansevoort on Park, to name a few. His energetic performance & crowd interaction leaves him in high demand, playing such private galas as UntappedPR's annual Fashion & Music show at Pranna NYC and the Mercedes Benz NYC Fashion Week Opening Party at the Empire Hotel Rooftop.  With an arsenal of intense vocal house tracks in his library, an unparallelled ability to react and interact with a crowd, and a collection of some of the scene's hottest and most popular mixtapes, DJ Smitty seems to have found a comfortable spot amongst New York City's great DJs. He currently holds a Friday night Residency at the acclaimed NYC Supper Club, Le Souk, located in Greenwich Village.
