A ‘bit’ is short for a binary digit – the idea that all computer technology can boil down to a series of ones and zeros. Enter Hyperbits, the creative and dynamic musical equivalent to those ones and zeros.
Hyperbits is an electronic dance music (EDM) producing duo based out of New York City. Utilizing their individual skill sets, which happen to be on opposite ends of the EDM spectrum, these two energetically & melodically fuse together big room progressive house, electro and trance.
Formed by longtime friends, Robert Palliser & Serik Slobodskoy are aggressively climbing up the ranks as young and rare talents within the New York City progressive scene. Heavily inspired by artists like Mat Zo, Sander van Doorn, Above & Beyond, and Hardwell -- Hyperbits strives to achieve modern, energetic, club friendly dance music that gets the crowd moving. They have received praise from Laidback Luke, Nervo, Michael Woods, Ralphie B, David Berrie, The Discro Fries and Chris Zane (Passion Pit & Friendly Fires)
Hyperbits manages to seamlessly combine elements of progressive, electro, trance and big room house within their DJ sets, making them unique and simultaneously pleasing to any EDM fan. Robert and Serik also started the well-respected top tier dance music blog www.ElectronicaOasis.com, which puts Hyperbits at the forefront of the current EDM scene.
Having played well-received DJ sets at Pacha NYC, Santos Party House, Hudson Terrace, Studio XXI, Lexicon and many others, Hyperbits is quickly making a name for themselves. Robert and Serik are certainly on the right track, as they each spend hours a night refining their production skills and working closely with Daniel Wyatt of Dubspot NYC (a world renowned Electronic Dance Music production school) and trance legend, Mark Pledger.
